Dave Gahagen
Dave Gahagen entered the insurance business in 1971 after graduating from San Jose State University with a degree in Human Resource Allocation and Industrial Relations. He was with New England Financial for 19 years as an agent, Agency Supervisor and Marketing Director. He received his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation in 1978 from the American College in Bryn Mawr ,PA. In the life insurance industry, the CLU designation is similar to what the CPA is in accountancy. Dave has taught financial planning and risk management at various colleges and has been a guest on KGO radio's "Money Talk" program. He has served in various boards and committees for a wide variety of industry and civic organizations. He joined ChoiceQuote in 2002 and currently serves as the company's General Manager. In his spare time, Dave is a volunteer Webmaster for several non-profit groups and enjoys participating in community theater. He and his wife live in Redwood City, California.
